One of the great aspects about family photography is that it is just a lot of fun – one gets to be in a beautiful outdoors location most of the time playing with the children and capturing some wonderful images. Such a photo session was the one with Taro, Lucas and Milo & their parents Sarah and Tristan. We had a really lovely time together in Hyde Park on a glorious English summer afternoon, and time just flew by. Looking at the images afterwards I was really pleased with the images which really capture this cheerful and lively family! Have a look yourself!

Charlie’s christening in Clapham

The name of choice for boys this year seems to be Charlie, and hence, I had the pleasure to capture one of those Charlies’ christenings in Clapham. It was a lovely ceremony at St Mary’s church, and only a short stroll back to Charlie’s home. There we were greeted by plenty of yummy food and even yummier cake for Charlie’s many christening guests. It was all a fun and relaxing afternoon with the little ones playing in the garden and the grown up ones enjoying some social time with a glass or two. Have a look yourself!

Kids birthday party in Kensington

It’s been a busy summer and there is some catching up I need to do to show you what I have been up to!

The very sunny and dry spring might already be a distant memory, however, I had the pleasure of photographing Dion’s birthday party as the spring came to an end. As it happened the weather had just decided that we should have a real English summer with plenty of rain after all. Dion and his little and not so little friends nevertheless came to his fun birthday party in Kensington, enjoyed the elaborate birthday cake, an amazing birthday BBQ and weren’t too bothered about the downpour. Particularly the soap bubbles and the bouncy castle were popular. Dion, however, didn’t want to part with his brand new toy plane…. not even for a piece of birthday cake!

Baby Portraits

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Paul and Tracey’s little boy Joshua. He is a beautiful baby with lovely blue eyes and was on his best behavior for the first photo session of his life. As it was a bit of a chilly day in South London we rather stayed inside for the baby pictures. However, this didn’t make it any less exciting for Joshua and he couldn’t help it but fell asleep at the end of the session after a couple of hours. As per Paul & Tracey they had a very quiet (blissfully asleep) baby that evening and hence, enjoyed some well deserved time to themselves for a change.

Lesson learnt from this? If you like an evening off, i.e. a baby which is asleep peacefully, book a photo session with me!:-)
