My own childhood memories are full of the usual events such as the first day of school, birthday parties and the joy of opening Christmas presents.  Which ones do I cherish the most?  It’s the little things I hold dear: listening to a bowl of rice krispies popping away; clutching dad’s hand crossing a busy street; bedtime stories.

If I could hold a photograph of these tiny moments the memories would come flooding back.   But there are no photographs of what are seemingly ordinary, everyday events.

Ordinary, but so precious.

How It Works

It’s just as it says.  One day with you and your family.  Doing ordinary things.  It’s a bit more than having a bunch of snapshots – you know the ones: “oh wait, let me just get the camera, say cheeeeese!” It’s about capturing a whole set of moments, from breakfast to bedtime.

During the day we’ll also do a few portraits, either at home or at a local park to make sure you have some lovely pictures of your family all together.

You need not do anything but be yourselves.  I’ll work around you and you will barely notice I’m even there.

What’s Included

All your images will be posted up in a web gallery for you to share with friends and family.  You also receive all the files in a convenient size for emailing and posting up on personal web sites such as Facebook.  High-resolution files and prints in a range of sizes can be purchased from the web gallery.  Volume discounts are available.

However the best way to view your photographs is as a collection of images that shows your whole day, from start to end, which is why every day-in-the-life shoot includes a hardback book.  I’ll put a selection of images together into a layout that you can preview and make changes to before it gets printed.

Prices

To cover your whole day, from breakfast to bedtime is £695.  If you’re pressed for time, a half day’s coverage can be arranged (for example, just the morning or afternoon/early evening) for £395.

Family Portrait Sessions

Straightforward family portraits sessions are also available for £200.  This includes 1.5 hours of photography either at your home or local park, all your images in a web-friendly size, an online gallery,  five 5×7″ prints OR five high res files (suitable for printing) of your choice.
